Kennesaw State University will pilot the ePerformance tool for annual performance evaluations before rolling it out to all USG institutions beginning on January 13, 2020.

What is ePerformance?
PeopleSoft ePerformance is a web-based, self-service, performance management solution that will streamline and improve the evaluation process.

Why Make Changes?
In the continued effort to be more consistent across the USG, all institutions will move to the ePerformance tool for annual performance evaluations. ePerformance will also integrate with the Careers Module in OneUSG. KSU will Go-Live with the Careers module in early Spring.

How will I receive training on ePerformance?
If you missed the live ePerformance training in December, please download the presentation here.  You may also download the USG Performance Factors. 

Is there anything I need to do at this time?
If you have direct reports, please log in to Manager Self Service (MSS) and ensure that you can view all employees that report to you. If you are missing employees, please contact your HR Generalist.

When will my evaluation be due?
Employees are encouraged to complete their self-evaluations by February 1, 2020, in order to allow supervisors ample time to complete the evaluation by the April 1, 2020 deadline.  All managers must have a completed evaluation on file no later than April 1, 2020, for each of their direct reports to be eligible for any possible merit increases.

Manager Steps to Launch Employee Evaluations


  • The only reason you, as a faculty member, should receive an ePerformance evaluation, is if you have a staff member reporting to you. Please complete your staff member's evaluations in ePerformance.

  • All evaluations must be received by April 1st in order to be considered for any possible merit increases.

  • Please contact your HRBP so that they may rectify the issue.
