What is ePerformance?
PeopleSoft ePerformance is a web-based, self-service, performance management solution that will streamline and improve the evaluation process.
How will I receive training on ePerformance?

Is there anything I need to do at this time?
If you have direct reports, please log in to Manager Self Service (MSS) and ensure that you can view all employees that report to you. If you are missing employees, please contact your HR Business Partner.
As you complete performance evaluations for your department, please take note of your highest performing Owls and consider nominating them for the 2022 Staff Awards. Click here to view the timeline for e-Performance and Staff Awards.
When will my evaluation be due?
Managers may communicate to their staff the desired completion date for self-evaluations. HR recommends these be completed no later than February 1, 2022, in order to allow supervisors ample time to complete their portion of the evaluation and submit it for next level review.
The state legislature and subsequently USG have not yet confirmed if employee merit
will be a part of the budget process for the coming year. For a manager to be eligible
for any possible merit increase, they must have completed all evaluations for the
staff directly reporting to them by the March 1, 2022, deadline. Click here to review the ePerformance work flow steps that must be completed by March 1, 2022.
ePerformance Job Aid
I am trying to complete my self evaluation but I am not able to enter my feedback when I expand the box. How can I resolve this issue?
Self-evaluations cannot be completed by an employee until the manager has moved it through the first three steps (define criteria, checkpoint 1, and finalize criteria). When the evaluation is ready for you to complete your self-evaluation, that link “complete self evaluation” will be a green, active link and allow you to enter the ratings and comments.
Note: When using OneUSG for any function (entering/approving time, evaluations, ESS/MSS, benefits enrollment, etc.), Chrome is the appropriate browser. Not all links populate easily without repeated refreshing when using IE or Mozilla.
Why did I receive this if I am faculty?
The only reason you, as a faculty member, should receive an ePerformance evaluation, is if you have a staff member reporting to you. Please complete your staff member's evaluations in ePerformance.
My due date is different when I log into ePerformance. When is my review actually due?
All evaluations must be received by March 1st in order to be considered for any possible merit increases.
I'm a manager but I can't see my employees. What should I do?
Please contact your HRBP so that they may rectify the issue.
Is there a preferred browser that I should use for OneUSG?While most browsers are compatible with using OneUSG, we have found that Chrome works best while navigating through ePerformance. When using OneUSG for any function (entering/approving time, evaluations, ESS/MSS, benefits enrollment, etc.), Chrome is the appropriate browser. Not all links populate easily without repeated refreshing when using IE or Mozilla.
